AN UPDATE ON YOUTH CENTRE PROGRAMS!

Girls Group Program: Girls 13-17 meet every Wednesdays at 3:30 to 4:30! Have about 8 girls who attend group regularly. Prime focus of girls group is to address awareness in increasing self esteem.

Youth Council Group: Youth Council group meets every Mondays from 3-4. Youth Council is currently planning a trip to Logan Manor to have tea and accompany the residents. Also the Youth Council has decided to take a trip to Chilliwack and distribute some homeless bags to the homeless, date is to be announced

Teens and Pre-Teens on the Move Program: The teens and pre-teens on the move program is the youth centre’s recreation program that usually takes place in the beautiful outdoors of BC. The recreation activities for the month of February have taken place in Manning and Hemlock for skiing and snowboarding. All Youth who attend recreation activities must get a parent consent form and try to make time to bond with the Youth centre before participating in recreation events. 

Supper Club Program:  Supper Club Takes place every Thursdays from 2:30-3:30 and involves Dave Cochrane addictions counselor who supervises the club. Each day the youth prepare and determine different kinds of supper dishes. All supper club participants look forward to the end of the month where they hold the big dinner they have been prepping and planning for the whole month. Each Youth also has the option to invite a friend or family member to the end of the month dinner.
